There is a walking trail around the dam, a boat ramp, sail boating, swimming, and picnic and barbecue facilities.3. Cycleway: A 4.7-km bicycle track leads from the city to the University of New England. Armidale and Region Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place Inc: Offering visual and performing arts programs designed to preserve and inform people about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island art and culture. They run a school holiday program and there are also arts and crafts from the indigenous communities for sale.
